Thanks for Playing Wild Rose Country!

After many years/hours listening to the CD’s... my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the ‘live’ experience in Sherwood Park/Edmonton on June 28. And everyone around us loved your and “The Boys” playing with so much enthusiasm... So intimate and the sets delivered with such an infectious blend of performing wisdom and a light-hearted, amusing slight self deprecation over getting “tangled up in technology”... (Wasn’t that a Bob Dylan song?) ie. spaghetti instrument cords and a plethora of pedals!

What a refreshing combo of stellar musicianship & singing, wonderful vintage, and new, originals... and really great covers... particularly the Leonard Cohen song – achingly beautiful!

So great to have a new cd! Thank you for somehow finding the time to record and tour while being parents. Wouldn’t it be great to have a stunt double to help take care of some of the details...

Incredible range of material you played... from the ballads to the rockers... and the instrumentals were a treat! Looked like you all really had fun. The house sound was stellar... a sound man who “got it”. The “band” was superb at complimenting your incredible playing and voice (even better ‘live’ than the record versions we’ve come to love) - “The Boys” voices were so well matched in harmony and their playing helping thoroughly fill that room with an incredibly big sound... with eyes closed, one would think a much bigger band was playing! Thanks for bringing your music back out West ‘live’ to grateful listeners. Enjoy your music-making and precious family moments... you get to do both!

    Travel safely, Peter
